Before I start the story I thought id introduce and describe the 3 characters the story centers on. These are original characters that are not in naruto I came up with. The story takes place shortly after the battle to avenge asuma’s death. But most of the stories will be sadow thinking about his past.  There are 2 parts to the fic; part 1 deals with these characters. part 2 is naruhina so plz dont ask howcome the first part of the fic takes place during Yondaime's reign as Hokage


Sadow – age: 35 during shippuuden
Elements – wind and lightning
Rank- Former ANBU captain and squad leader, currently a jonin.
Team- solo operative
A man whose past is shrouded in mystery even to himself.  There is no knowledge of his background.  He is also the only person other than Kakashi to have the Uchiha sharingan due to a massive blood transfusion by a dieing Uchiha who gave what blood he had left to save sadow’s life.  He was born with a natural affinity for ninjutsu but became a taijutsu specialist to maximize his fighting skills.  He has a chakra level that rivals naruto’s and has inhuman strength due to training and being able to use chakra to enhance his body.  He has a vast arsenal of justsus from using both his sharingan and his own demon art style justsus he invented.  He has long black hair which he wears loose along with his headband on his forehead he also suprisingly resembles the 1st hokage, but what makes him stand out the most is the large black weighted training cloak that hides most of his upper body and metallic black armor that was made to resemble the armor worn by the 1st and 2nd hokages. He is most famous for carrying a chakra blade katana with a dragon made of jade that runs down the hilt.  When chakra runs through the sword the blade glows resembling a dragon breathing fire.  He has a very serious disposition and never displays any sign of emotion.

Hinara Hyuuga – a member in the ANBU ops Hinara was assigned to Sadow’s 3man cell.  She is the polar opposite of Sadow in almost every way.  Where as Sadow is serious and doesn’t show emotion, Hinara is cheerful and tends to wear her feelings on her sleeves.  For some reason she is the only person who can not only tell how Sadow is feeling but can also notice even the smallest change of his expression much to his confusion.  She is a member of the Hyuuga branch family and is considered to have a very weak kekkei genkai according to Hyuuga standards.  Unlike other members of the Hyuuga clan her eyes are not white but rather grey with long raven black hair.  She normally wears her Anbu uniform but when like most members of the Hyuuga clan she wears a kimono when she is off duty and in the compound.

Masi Yakamura-   the 3rd member of Sadow’s squad and is also his best friend.  Although he is not very strong in direct combat, Masi is an expert at traps and proficient at combining that with genjutsu.  He is constantly looking for a way to get results with the least amount of effort which rarely happens to his frustration.  He has a fascination with forbidden justsus as well.  He is most famous for having to apply for ANBU 4 times till he finally passed.  Most people describe him to have a very scrawny and ragged appearance.  Sadow is constantly getting Masi out of trouble.
